Activities : Open European Dialogue

The Open European Dialogue provides policymakers with tools to better understand political challenges and perspectives in Europe.

We organize regular dialogues, workshops, and fact-finding missions to strengthen meaningful exchange between Europe’s policymakers.

Our events are held under the Open European Dialogue House Rules that emphasize listening and openness to others’ perspectives and the respect of confidentiality. Once a year a large cohort of network members meets at the Open European Dialogue’s Annual Policymakers Meeting.

The OED also offers regular meeting opportunities to its members throughout the year. We work together with the network to identify and service MP demands by designing and facilitating different OED Exchange Formats, from MP Open Calls to Policy Workshops and Scenario Exercises.

9th Annual Policymakers Dialogue, 27-29 September 2024

From September 27th to September 29th, 2024, the Annual Policymakers Dialogue will bring together policymakers from across Europe in Zagreb, Croatia, to discuss today’s policymaking challenges by exploring the nature and socio-political implications of conflict in a democratic society.
