EU-Turkey Relations
On 3-4 November 2016, 13 members of national parliaments (MPs) from nine EU Member States participated in a two-day workshop on “EU-Turkey relations between the refugee crisis and the failed coup”, which featured a field trip to the Eleonas refugee camp in Athens, presentations by experts from the “Global Turkey in Europe” network and conversations on EU-Turkey relations.
Participants gathered from a wide range of political and geographical backgrounds: from opposition to governing parties, from founding and long-time Member States to new members.
