MED x LUISS: New Political Leadership for a New Europe

Taking place in Rome on June 14-15, this exclusive Mercator European Dialogue training has been organized by the Istituto Affari Internazionali (IAI) and the Barcelona Center for International Affairs (CIDOB) in collaboration with the LUISS Guido Carlo University. The training was designed by Alberto Alemanno, Jean Monnet professor of EU Law and founder of The Good Lobby, and was animated by leading thinkers, journalists, and civil society leaders.
How can national political representatives translate their daily work into broader societal and political impact? How can national members of parliament effectively leverage their role to shape policies and political narratives at the national and European levels? How can they best make use and refine the tools for exerting public leadership in the age of digital democracy and multilevel governance in Europe?
