In these times of crisis, it is more important than ever to ensure the proper functioning of our countries’ democratic foundations.
On the initiative of our member Franziska Brantner (Germany), the Open European Dialogue is hosting a “Solidarity Call for Parliamentarians in Europe” with other Members of Parliaments from our network. In this call, you will be able to check in with your colleagues from across Europe, exchange experiences and best practices, and find areas for coordination.

Over the past three weeks, the Open European Dialogue has monitored and informed its members on measures and responses to COVID-19 taken by national parliaments in Europe. Thirteen parliamentarians from eight countries used this opportunity to exchange national perspectives, best-practices and concerns in an online dialogue hosted by the Open European Dialogue.
