MP initiative
This MP-Call follows up on the “Solidarity Call for Parliamentarians in Europe” hosted by the Open European Dialogue upon the initiative of its member Franziska Brantner (Germany). Main takeaways and highlights of the first MP-Call on Parliaments in times of Corona can be found here.
This second call provides participants with a space to connect with their colleagues across Europe and keep the conversation going with regards to how parliaments are adapting to the current crisis, what democratic and institutional measures are being implemented and what policies – at the local, national or European level – are emerging as priorities.
OED House Rules ensure the informality and discretion needed to discuss possible areas and avenues of cooperation among European parliamentarians.
