The Policy Mission Fellowship

After a decade of connecting parliamentarians across party lines, and growing demand from our politicians for deeper engagement, we are excited to launch the Policy Mission Fellowship – a pilot programme providing Members of Parliament with an exceptional, immersive 5-month programme to enhance their political leadership and make progress on critical policy areas.

The theme for the first cohort, “The Securitisation of Europe’s Economic Power”, was carefully selected together with members of our network and strategic partners for its urgency and relevance as one of Europe’s most pressing challenges.

Programme highlights include:

  • A 5-day Residency Week in a European city
  • A 3-day Policy Prototyping Lab in the Berlin countryside
  • 3 Thematic online deep-dives and tailored upskilling sessions

What the Fellowship delivers for policymakers:

  • Tangible progress on current policy problems
  • A personalised learning journey and professional upskilling modules enhancing strategic thinking, political communication, and collaboration capacity
  • A cross-party and cross-border cohort of politicians to act as a strategic sounding board and help advance policy thinking
  • Bespoke policy intelligence and research
  • Mastery of a Harvard-developed leadership methodology for political change management
  • Exclusive field visits and networking with key political and institutional decision-makers
  • A unique setting to step back from daily political pressures and engage in open, diagnostic thinking in an informal setting with a trusted group of peers
  • Access to the Open European Dialogue policymakers community, granting policymakers long-lasting, confidential relationships with political allies and sparring partners across Europe
