MP Open Call: Your Direct Line to Europe’s Policymakers #3
This open-agenda call provided members of parliament with the space to connect, informally, with their European colleagues to gain first-hand information on the political situation in other countries. The participants set the agenda themselves.
The call was joined by five parliamentarians from France, Hungary, Lithuania, Slovenia, and Sweden. The participants discussed the Hungarian–Polish veto against the EU budget and the far–reaching consequences of the move to e–parliament due to the pandemic. A more focused take can be found here.
Our next MP Open Call will take place on 11 January 2021 from 08.00 till 09.00 am (CET). For more information, please click here.
This MP Open Calls was part of a monthly series launched in October 2020 to keep communication channels between European policymakers open.
