MP Open Call: Your Direct Line to Europe’s Policymakers – European Tour de Table
U.S. Elections Edition
On November 12th, from 08:00 to 09:00 a.m. (CET), members of parliament from across Europe convened for a special European Tour de Table session, focused on the U.S. presidential elections and their implications for Europe.
In this special edition of the Open European Dialogue’s MP Open Calls format, policymakers unpacked the results of the U.S. vote, exchanged views and perspectives on transatlantic relations and insights from different member states.
ABOUT THE FORMAT
The Open European Dialogue is dedicated to fostering meaningful exchanges between policymakers throughout Europe by creating a neutral, informal, and accessible space for open conversation. Our MP Open Calls, including this European Tour de Table, were developed with this mission in mind. These sessions provide a platform for parliamentarians to set the agenda, discuss urgent national and European concerns, and support one another by sharing strategies, best practices, and pressing challenges.
